Hi folks

I didn't find any contact email to the fireogg developer.
I think most endusers are scared when they use first time fireogg.
It seems to be a remote site, so people have privacy concerns!
It would be good to have hint that the encoding will be done locally
and the plug-in doesn't do call home :-)

The JavaScript user interface is really great and intuitive. Good job!

Hello,

Fireogg is developed by the author of ffmpeg2theora, who may be
reached at [ j (at) v2v.cc ]. He's a long-time contributor to the
free software world and -- obviously -- someone of trust, but as you
may notice by the v2v website, not someone with time to fill in detail
in web sites that the average user would reckon as important such as
contact information.

You or anyone else can, of course, check the plugin's source to see
what it does.

Possibly of interest, fireogg has a launchpad project page[1] which
lists the contributors to the project by name. Also, the official
website actually shows a contact email in some of the inner pages.

Hope that helps.
